REFLECTA has been developed as our new outer shell fabric utilising a fire resistant base cloth bonded to an unique aluminised film optimised for adhesion to the base cloth and highly resistant to attack from salt water, humidity and heat.

THERMAZORB is an inherently fire resistant lining which has high resistance to conductive heat reducing the thermal load on the wearer. ThermaZorb also absorbs perspiration, wicking it away from the body and its soft feel adds to wearer comfort.The two layers are complimentary with the Reflecta ThermaZorb inner layer absorbing and dissipating the heat transfer.The shape and fit of the suit has been optimised for the ship-borne environment where vertical ladders,restricted access and tight spaces are encountered.

The jacket is cut higher at the front to reduce bulk at the waist when climbing or crawling. The lower cut back protects the wearer when reaching, bending down, and crawling in confined spaces.The design of the sleeves gives extended reach and manoeuvrability to operate firefighting equipment and the trouser shape as been optimised to provide the stride necessary to climb ladders unrestricted.The jacket has a high, lined collar, to protect the neck and give a good overlap with the helmet visor and neck curtain.

The front of the jacket is closed with 50 mm touch and close to speed up donning in an emergency.The trousers have a high waist with a touch and close fly. They are fitted with H-style adjustable bracers.All external seams are double stitched for strength.
